Ah, went for a few cocktails to the highly regarded Dutch Kills. This place is great! It's a lovely space and the cocktails are reasonably priced and delicious!
My GF had a Moscow Mule and I had a Don Lockwood. Tasty and refreshing!
Service was a bit slow but it being a quiet Sunday night, that was just fine by us.

Last night, a friend and I went to the new, upscale bar/resto named Alewife in Long Island City. My friend had been there and told me it was great. Plus, I had wanted to try it since it opened up a few weeks ago.
But what a waste of money! I will not be going back to Alewife any time soon!
